2022 Gait Augmentation Seminar

Did you know your walk is unique to you and it can be identified from hundreds of yards away?

Forget your fingerprint or your face, your walk is a reliable bio-tracker. Want to practice augmenting your walk so you can go incognito on any sidewalk?

Come step into the year 2022 for a workout that makes SoulCycle seem trivial.

After decades of research, gait identification technologies are edging closer, becoming more affordable, and finding surprisingly unchecked success in the commercial sector.

During The Seminar

Your gait will be analyzed, you’ll practice peculiar walking exercises, and even make your own personal augmentation wearables to take home! It's all part of my Mind over Matter — Matter over Mind approach to going incognito.

After the seminar, we’ll cool down with a discussion of the Participatory Satire we just experienced. How did it make us feel? What did it make us think about or question? What made us comfortable or uncomfortable?

Why Participatory Satire?

Participatory Satire is a humorous tactic for collaborative speculation. It invites people to play in current realities or potential futures taken TOO FAR by technological or scientific advancements, or even policy shifts.

We can watch satire and we can read about issues, but it is transformative to live in the absurdity—to let our own curiosity and feelings guide us.

Applying humor to uncomfortable topics disarms us. It lets us confront our deeply held views, upend our doom and gloom reactions, and lessen numbness to discussing topics like privacy, climate change, or even our relationships with our phones.
